Congratulations to The Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon who are celebrating their 140th anniversary as a congregation this month! The Sisters have served the community through prayer, education, health care, and outreach since 1886! Their sponsored ministries include Valley Catholic School, Valley Catholic Music School, Maryville Skilled Care, SSMO Foundation and the SSMO Ministries Corp. The Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist are glad to participate in the special jubilee Year of St. Francis of Assisi in honor of the 800th anniversary of his death. (Decree) They will be opening their chapel for Eucharistic Adoration from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm on the second Sunday of every month for those who wish to gain the plenary indulgence granted to all faithful who make a pilgrimage to any place of worship dedicated to St. Francis in any part of the world. The dates are: March 8, 2026, April 12, 2026, May 10, 2026, June 14, 2026, July 12, 2026, August 9, 2026, September 13, 2026, October 11, 2026, November 8, 2026 and December 13, 2026. The Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows are hosting two Lenten silent retreats this month. The Men’s Lenten Silent Retreat will be presented by Rev. Theodore Lange on the theme: You Have the Words ff Everlasting Life on March 6-8, 2026. The Women’s Lenten Silent Retreat, led by Rev.
