VIDEOS to WATCH & DISCUSS
VOCATION PANEL DISCUSSION
WITH FR. JEFF EIRVIN, VOCATION DIRECTOR
When a young man or woman begins to think about the possibility of a religious vocation the first thing they want to do is hear stories about how others answered the call. We often think that being called to the priesthood or consecrated life comes with the heavens opening up and God saying, “Be a priest!” “Be a sister!” Of course, that does not happen (too often). The call is usually more subtle and ordinary. Some say it is like falling in love. Listen to a Benedictine Monk (Br. Anselm Flores), a Carmelite Sister (Sr. Juana Maria), a Sister of St. Mary’s of Oregon (Sr. Maria Kieu Tran) and a diocesan seminarian (Matthew Knight) share a bit about their call.
