On Wednesday we were privileged to attend Mass in St. Peter’s square where Pope Francis presided over opening the session of the Synod on Synodality. He passed close by us in the pope-mobile and blessed the crowd. Our walking tour began at the colosseum and progressed through the Church of St. Peter in Chains, and the forum.
We arrived at Sant’ Andrea della Valle for a prayer vigil for the men to be ordained. It was a lovely time of reflection and intercession while Coulter McIntyre, our seminarian, played the organ. Confession was made available for all of the friends and family, which was a grace for all of us.
